What is the difference between registration fees and program fees?  Registration fees are billed only once during the year and program fees are billed according to the payment schedule .  The SPSA Family Registration fee of $150 is billed one time per season for an entire family regardless to how many swimmers are in the family.  The YMCA & USA Registration fees are billed one time per season per SWIMMER.  These fees are actual costs that SPSA will pay on your swimmer's behalf when we register the team.  ALL swimmers are registered both with Anne Arundel Family YMCA and USA Swimming.  We will bill one swimmer per month for the YMCA & USA registration, so if you have multiple swimmers, fees will be spread out monthly until all swimmers have been billed.

Are the program fees paid monthly throughout the swim season? The program fees are billed according to your practice group and are paid for a limited number of months depending on the group.  The payment schedule will be occur over a 5 month period for the Gumshoe & Private Eye groups and over a 6 month period for the Sleuth, Investigator & SPY groups.  All groups will complete the billing by January, but the season will continue through February for the Gumshoe & Private Eye groups and through July for the Sleuth, Investigator & SPY groups.  Many swim clubs require the total fee prior to the beginning of the season, but SPSA has decided to help our families by spreading the payments over a few months.

What happens if my swimmer's group is changed to my bill?  During the swimming season it is possible that your swimmer's practice group will change.  If this occurs, your bill will be adjusted & prorated accordingly.  If you have a question if this occurs, please contact finance@spyswimming.org  for a detailed explanation.

My swimmer was not able to swim due to illness, can I get a refund? SPSA does not issue any refundsFees are based upon the expenses that the entire team incurs and hence we are not able to issue refunds or prorate fees due to an injury or illness.
