Polar Bear Plunge The SPIES made quite a splash at the Polar Bear Plunge on January 28th, 2006 at Sandy Point State Park to benefit Special Olympics, raising more than $1500 in addition to having a great time and representing our organization with honor, as always! Thanks especially to Rachel Gicquelais and Ashleigh Rose, who as team captains coordinated the team effort on behalf of SPY. Thanks also to those parents and families that sponsored the biggest (fattest and whitest, anyway) polar bear of all - ME! (Coach Jim!!) (Click on image for larger view of picture)
